How Long Per Day I Have to Wear Removable Brace?

How much of the time would I need to wear my removable brace?

Generally speaking in order to achieve movement you would need the brace to be in position for at least 12 hours per day.  If you think about it as a 24 hour cycle there’s time to move forwards and there’s time to move backwards. Teeth have elastic fibres attaching them to the gum and at the same time the bone needs to remodel around the tooth so there needs to be sufficient time for it to move. Your accelerated removable brace should be worn between 15 and 16 hours a day, ideally 18 hours but not more than that.  It you have an Invisalign or clear removable brace that should be worn about 23 hours a day. So each brace needs different times and your Dentist will discuss the requirements with you.
